Doctors who have previously completed equivalent course work may apply for advanced standing toward our core courses. An application must be submitted along with supporting documentation of the course work and the accreditation of the awarding board. Accreditation should be in the form of continuing education approval by PACE or a state board. Final determination will be made by the Academic Review Board of the AAMVI.
Advanced standing has been approved for:
- Croft Seminars, up to 10 hours to be applied towards mechanism of injury requirement. Additional hours may be considered towards the diploma.
- AMA Impairment Rating utilizing AMA Guides Sixth Edition. Coursework on AMA guides fifth edition may be considered toward the diploma.
- Yeomans’ Outcomes Assessment Seminars
Course Evaluations:
Previously completed course work related to motor vehicle injuries may be evaluated for advanced standing. The requesting doctor must complete the Request for Evaluation of Course Work and submit that with supporting documentation: syllabus, course notes, accrediting school or agency.
